Data Service Setup

It is possible to use this connector to provide a MessageStore to the Data Service Layer of a cloud connection. In this way, it is possible to store the messages that flow through that cloud connection.

After having created a PostgreSQL® Client instance (as described in the PostgreSQL® Client Setup tutorial), configure the Data Service layer of the desired cloud connection to use the Postgres instance using the Message Store Provider Service PID setting.

After sending some messages over that cloud connection, using pgAdmin to connect to the database, it is possible to inspect the created tables. The default table where the Data Service stores the message is org.eclipse.kura.data.DataService.
